Cuba Reiterates Commitment to General and Full Disarmament

 Havana, March 5 (ACN) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez reiterated his country’s commitment to the general and full disarmament.

In an X message, on the occasion of International Day on Disarmament and Non-Proliferation, Rodriguez referred to the importance given by Cuba to this issue, which is crucial to keep up international peace and security.

The resources being destined to military ends should be reoriented towards the nations’ economic and social development, Rodriguez wrote.

According to the United Nations, weapons of mass destruction, particularly nuclear weapons, keep being of great concern due to their destructive power and the threat they posed on humanity.
