Havana, Feb 18 (ACN) Maintenance and construction workers clean the damage inflicted by a fire that broke out in an intensive care unit at the Camilo Cienfuegos Hospital in the central Cuban province of Sancti Spiritus.
The blaze broke out Monday evening and was rapidly extinguished by firefighters and local workers. Cuban Interior Ministry experts are investigating the cause of the fire, which claimed no victims as the patients in the area were transferred to other wards to keep receiving appropriate medical attention.
The damage assessed included personal belongings and medical equipment, according to a report by PL Latin American News Agency.
