Havana, Feb 13 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel attended the opening of the 33rd International Havana Book Fair 2025.
South Africa is the Guest of Honor country to the event, whose main venue is the San Carlos de la Cabana, a fortress built her during Spanish colonial rule.
The African nation is the third country of its continent to have been the honor guest at the fair, preceded by Angola and Algeria.
The literary fair, attended by representatives of 40 countries of the world and more than 400 foreign guests, will run till February 23rd to later travel other Cuban provinces.
