China and Cuba Look at Priorities on their Bilateral Agenda

Havana, Feb 13 (ACN) Cuban acting foreign minister Gerardo Peñalver and China’s ambassador to Cuba Hua Xin considered priorities on the bilateral agenda of both nations during a meeting Thursday at the building hosting the Cuban Foreign Ministry in Havana.

Both officials ratified the excellent state of the political dialog between Cuba and China and affirmed their governments’ willingness to keep advancing the construction of a shared future community as they mark the 65th year of bilateral diplomatic relations.

The Cuban diplomat conveyed the gratefulness of the Cuban government to China for its support of the island against the current strengthening of the US economic, commercial and financial blockade.

Meanwhile, Hua Xin reiterated China’s commitment to keep deepening relations with Cuba and even expand cooperation to the benefit of both nations, despite the challenges posed by the international scenario.
