HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 12 (ACN) The panel Challenges facing Education in the 21st Century: From commitment to action - Goals 2030, coordinated by Cuba’s Minister of Education Naima Ariatne Trujillo Barreto marks the third day of the XIX International Congress “Pedagogy 2025”, which will also include the General Assembly of the Association of Educators of Latin America and the Caribbean (AELAC).
The participants will also enjoy the screening of the documentary La cabeza piensa donde pisan los pies: Frei Betto y la Educación Popular en Brasil [The head thinks where the feet tread: Frei Betto and Popular Education in Brazil], directed by Evanize Sydow, about Betto's work in this field and its use of Paulo Freire's methodology.
With 32 countries invited, the panels, symposiums and lectures organized by this prestigious biennial pedagogical event champion the topic of its theme: "Education, science and innovation for sustainable human development".
