Cuba and China hold activities for 65 years of diplomatic ties

 HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 7 (ACN) With the presentation of the logo of the campaign for the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and China, both countries opened the cycle of actions to celebrate the anniversary, to be held on September 28.

Through a virtual conference, the Chinese ambassador to Cuba, Hua Xin, and his counterpart in Beijing, Alberto Blanco Silva, discussed the use of the logo and programmatic activities, according to a statement from the Chinese diplomatic mission to Havana.

The representative of the Asian nation said that mutual relations between the two countries have always been at the forefront of the times and the world, and this campaign will serve to promote special friendly relations between the two nations in the new era.

He stressed that the two sides should jointly implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two countries and take stronger measures to promote the building of a community with a shared future for China and Cuba.

For his part, the Cuban diplomat stated that his country will take advantage of the actions for the 65th anniversary as an opportunity to better implement the three major global initiatives and the "Belt and Road" project.

Likewise, he added, it will promote China-Cuba strategic cooperation at a higher level.
