SANCTI SPIRITUS, Cuba, Feb 6 (ACN) The use of renewable energy sources to favor the functionality and comfort of a group of rooms of the Hotel Club Amigo Ancón in this province is one of the new features of the investment process of the facility, established in the 1980s.
Anley Martínez López, head of technical services of the hotel, said that they intend to install solar panels to guarantee the permanent supply of hot water to the guestrooms as part of an action plan to improve service quality that also includes the use of modern construction methods and materials, all of which will turn the Ancón into a more attractive, comfortable and competitive hotel.
Investments provided in the last three years have benefited the hotel’s restaurants, swimming pools, marina and diving center and, therefore, made it possible for this facility to increase the number of its domestic and foreign guests, especially from Canada.
