Havana, Feb 5 (ACN) Cuba ratified its commitment to collaborating with the United Children Fund (UNICEF) particularly in the healthcare area.
In his remarks at the UNICEF executive board session, Cuban ambassador Ernesto Soberon reiterated his government willingness to keep contributing with the UN agency, particularly in joint projects.
Soberon acknowledged the outstanding role played by the UN agency at global level, despite current difficulties and limitations regarding basic resources.
