HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 2 (ACN) Pedro Carreño, chairman of the Standing Committee on Administration and Services of the National Assembly of the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, who is visiting Cuba at the head of a delegation of parliamentarians from that country, laid a wreath Saturday on the National Hero José Martí Memorial at Havana's Revolution Square.
Joining the distinguished visitor at the solemn ceremony were Ana María Mari Machado, vice president of the National Assembly of People's Power and of the Council of State, and Yoerky Sánchez Cuéllar, member of the Council of State and president of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Venezuela.
The visiting deputies of the Venezuelan National Assembly traveled to Cuba to participate in the Parliamentary Forum for Peace with Sovereignty and Democracy, held as part of the VI International Conference For World Balance “With all and for the good of all".
