HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 2 (ACN) In a post on X, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez referred to the measures taken against the island by the U.S. government as criminal and hardly surprising.
Díaz-Canel questioned how anyone can claim to want to help the welfare of Cubans with new suffocating measures, and pointed out that it is just another outrage wrapped in lies to justify the criminal siege that the U.S. government has laid to the Cuban people for purposes of destabilization and domination.
The President remarked that these measures are likely to precede others, also doomed to failure, intended to subjugate Cuba and assured that whoever harbors those hopes will meet with the repudiation of all Cubans who love their land and universal isolation, and all the damage caused to a noble people that they will never see on bended knee will be on them.
"Victory will be our response”, Díaz-Canel asserted.
