Havana, Jan 29 (ACN) Cuba’s first deputy premier Ines Maria Chapman stressed the significance of the Cuban program against racism and racial discrimination amidst US attempts to revive racist policies and the so called “white supremacy.”
Chapman said that directives, specialists and the people in general must be very clear about the concepts, terms and categories related to Cuban identity, race mixture, which are high on the agenda of local social programs.
The Cuban government and its agencies must follow the development of educative actions on the preservation of the country’s historic memory, social activism about habitat and health in the local and international arena, the work with social and mass media, as well as the attention to new scientific investigations and projects
