Havana, Jan 29 (ACN) The Cuban and Vietnamese communist parties expect to implement bilateral consensuses and agreements this year, said the Cuban political party’s organization secretary Roberto Morales.
The Cuban political leader referred to bilateral accords for the promotion and development of collaboration, solidarity and working relations, all signed by leaders Miguel Diaz-Canel and Nguyen Phu Trong.
On his X account, Morales also congratulated the Vietnamese people on Lunar New Year, in the name of the Cuban people and the Communist Party.
On December 2nd, 1960, Cuba and the formerly called Democratic Republic of Vietnam established bilateral relations.
At present Vietnam is Cuba’s major investor from Asia and Oceania, while both nations keep strengthening comprehensive bilateral cooperation.
