Cuban President Attends Cultural Gala for National Hero Jose Marti

 

Havana, Jan 28 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel attended the cultural gala marking the 172nd birthday of Cuban National Hero Jose Marti.

The gala was also attended by members of the Cuba Communist Party Politburo, government and by participants at the 6th International Conference of World Balance, underway here.

Declamation of poems written by outstanding Cuban authors like Miguel Barnet and Nancy Morejon and versions of the verses written by Jose Marti were part of the cultural gala.

The event also counted on the participation of Cuban songwriters and singers like Raul Torres, Annie Garces and others.
