HAVANA, Cuba,, Jan 28 (ACN) Eduardo Rodriguez Davila, Cuban minister of transport, announced today the start this week of a new route of electric tricycles that will connect public health institutions in the municipalities of Marianao and Boyeros, in this capital city.
As reported by the head of the sector on his official Facebook page, the route will be covered by 10 vehicles assembled in the country and will include health other institutions.
Last December 2024 Rodriguez Davila explained that there were 326 active means of transport of this type in the country, with Havana being the province with the highest representation, with 135.
Likewise, the minister specified that 300 new vehicles are planned to be incorporated by 2025.
