HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 22 (ACN) In a post on X on the occasion of the visit of a delegation from Türkiye, President Miguel Díaz-Canel assured that Cuba will keep consolidating projects with the Eurasian nation.
In his message, the head of state remarked that he met with Dr. Ümit Kervan, president of the Türkiye Health Institutes and leader of the Turkish delegation, whose visit to Cuba follows on from meetings that Díaz-Canel held in 2022 during his official visit to Türkiye, including a business forum attended by several Turkish institutions and cooperation agreements in science, innovation and research signed with President Erdogan.
On his end, Dr. Kervan stressed that his government is in favor of bilateral cooperation in various fields, and particularly between Turkish institutes and Cuba’s BioCubaFarma.
