Havana to host Innovation for Development Fair

 HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 14 (ACN) The Innovation for Development Fair will be opened this Wednesday at Havana's Convention Center, with the aim of showing results and favoring impact projects in the search for innovative solutions to national priorities.

The two-day event will be a space for exchange, in the face-to-face modality, when participants will be able to make presentations, lectures and colloquiums, linked to creative initiatives and an exhibition of results in socio-economic activities.

It is one of the actions of the national event for the Cuban Science Day, whose headquarters corresponded in 2024 to the province of Havana, according to the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (Citma by its Spanish acronym).

It has 50 stands and 120 exhibitors on Health and biotechnology, Informatics and digital transformation, Services, Tourism and sustainable development, Construction and hydraulic networks, Electro-energy, Industrial development, Integrated transport logistics, Education, culture and professional services, Food production and Territorial development.

Its program includes the Innovation Forum, the workshops Science and Innovation-based Government Management System, and Artificial Intelligence, conferences, panels Structures dynamizing innovation, Local Development and others, Session of the Youth Innovation Council, awards and signing of agreements.

Also, the presentation of the National Innovation Awards and the Citma Special Awards for the 2022-2023 period and recognition by the National Association of Innovators and Rationalizers, among others.
