Cuba to host 6th International Conference for the Balance of the World

 HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 13 (ACN) Roberto Morales Ojeda, member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, informed today that the country is finalizing details for the celebration of the 6th International Conference For the Balance of the World.

Preparations are being finalized to hold the International Conference For the Balance of the World, once again the legacy of Marti summons and unites: it is universal and eternal, said the party leader on X.

In the invitation to the event, a call was made to writers, historians, journalists, artists, politicians, economists, scientists, representatives of social and solidarity movements, union and religious leaders, as well as members of non-governmental organizations, scientists, feminists, youth, peasants, ecologists and all people of good will moved by the defense of social justice, development with equity, dialogue, peace, the beautiful feelings of solidarity and the desire to build a better world.

The statement said that this world forum of plural and multidisciplinary thought has the support and co-sponsorship of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture, the Culture of Peace Foundation, the Soka Gakkai International, the Latin American Council of Social Sciences and other international, regional and national institutions.
The meeting will be held at the Havana Convention Center, January 28-31, 2025.
