HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 9 (ACN) The 11th Symposium of Cuban Criminalistic Technique and the 4th Day of Biometric Identification (Tecnicrim 2024) will start tomorrow and its sessions will be extended until next Thursday at the Havana Convention Center, announced the Ministry of Interior.
A dozen delegates from several countries and representatives of the International Organization for Migration are expected to attend the meeting, the body added.
According to its call, it should bring new ideas and knowledge in forensic crime investigation and improve the knowledge management strategy.
The event also promoted scientific development and the transfer of technologies and methodologies, with a positive impact on the expert mission in the fight against crime, extraordinary events and their prevention.
The previous editions contributed to the growth of the national specialty and counted with increasing international participation, which provided the opportunity to strengthen the exchange and cooperation ties between personalities and systems of the sector as a whole.
