HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 8 (ACN) On its profiles on social networks, the Havana Electric Company reported that work is continuing to address the damage caused by Hurricane Rafael in the electrical infrastructure of the territory.
The entity indicates that it is working hard to create a microsystem that will strengthen the generation capacity in the capital city, once the transmission and sub-transmission lines have been completed, which will allow the subsequent connection of the city, in order to contribute to the reestablishment of the National Electroenergetic System.
The source points out that the work groups are making progress in the prioritized distribution circuits of the municipal Basic Business Units, corresponding to hospitals, water supply sources and other vital services.
In solidarity with the recovery work in the capital, specialized contingents from the eastern provinces of Las Tunas, Holguin, Granma and Camagüey are joining the recovery efforts.
