HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 4 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez attended the opening today of the XL Havana International Fair (FIHAV), held at the Expocuba Fairgrounds in this city, where some 60 nations and more than 750 companies—a third of them Cuban—are participating this year, which confirms the event as the largest source of trade agreements in the Caribbean.
Featured in the Fair’s Monday program are presentations of goods and services, business forums and rounds, meetings between chambers of commerce, seminars and lectures, as well as celebrations to honor the National Days of Russia, Spain and Brazil.
FIHAV will also host the VII Investment Forum, where foreign businesspeople will be updated on business and investment opportunities in multiple Cuban sectors, including the Mariel Special Development Zone.
