All Cuba with Guantanamo, appeal by the Young Communist League

HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 22 (ACN) All #Cuba with #Guantanamo, reads an appeal by the Young Communist League, student organizations and youth movements in the country to contribute and support the recovery of the damage caused by Hurricane Oscar to the people of the easternmost province of the country.

"In view of the damage caused by Hurricane Oscar in the municipalities of Guantanamo, the Young Communist League (UJC by its Spanish acronym), as well as student organizations and youth movements, call on young people to go to the places where it is necessary to contribute to the recovery, as defined by the authorities of the territories, refers the message distributed on Monday night.

“We will immediately form the brigades that are necessary, ready to work in campaign conditions, side by side, together with our people”, specifies the document, and specifies that the municipal committees of the UJC throughout the country are receiving the orientation to form such brigades and have them ready waiting for the activation to be decided.

Likewise, donations for the families affected by the hurricane will also be received at the headquarters of the municipal and provincial committees of the organization, in order to make up a suitcase that will be sent to the eastern zone.

"As the great family of youth that we are we ratify that there is much work to be done..., but we will get ahead," the call concludes. #FuerzaGuantanamo
