Havana, Oct 1 (ACN) The US Coast Guard Service returned to Cuba two men and one minor who had attempted an illegal departure from the country and were intercepted on the sea.
The two men were submitted to corresponding investigation for presumed crimes before the illegal departure; the minor was taken to her mother, according to the Cuban Interior Ministry.
With this operation—number 74 from different countries of the region—the number of returned irregulars has climbed to one thousand 157 so far this year.
Cuban authorities maintained their firm commitment to a regular and orderly migration and reiterate their alert about the danger and risk for life entailed by illegal departures from the country.lc
