Cuban parliament congratulates Chinese parliamentary authorities

HAVANA, Cuba, Oct. 1 (ACN) Member of the Political Bureau of the Party Central Committee Esteban Lazo Hernandez, president of the National Assembly of People's Power and the Council of State, congratulated this October 1 parliamentary authorities of the Asian nation on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

In a letter sent to Zhao Leji, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and chairman of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress, Lazo Hernandez congratulated, on behalf of Cuban deputies and on his own behalf, on this historic date.

On the other hand, in a letter addressed to Wang Huning, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and chairman of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Esteban Lazo also ratified “the permanent support of the members of the National Assembly of People's Power to the ‘One China’ principle” and the deepest gratitude for the solidarity received permanently from the sister Asian nation.

Deputy Caridad Diego Bello, head of the Cuba-China Parliamentary Friendship Group, also joined in the congratulations for this relevant anniversary, through a message on X: “Congratulations to the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Cuba on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the sister People's Republic of China. We will continue working to strengthen our relations between the National Assembly of People's Power and the National People's Congress of China”.
