HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 29 (ACN) In a post on X, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel ratified to the Chinese Party, Government and people the island’s invariable will to keep strengthening dialogue and cooperation as the People’s Republic gets ready to celebrate the 75th anniversary of its world-changing foundation.
In his message, the Head of State shared images of the solemn act held Friday at the Palace of the Revolution in the presence of Cuban government and Party leaders.
Speaking at the event, Prime Minister Marrero Cruz said that Cuba recognizes and feels as its own the achievements of the Chinese people and will always stand by them under any circumstance and stressed that the birth of the New China changed the course of history and became a milestone for the struggle for independence and sovereignty of the peoples.
Also present was Hua Xin, China’s recently appointed ambassador to Cuba, who highlighted the historical ties between the two peoples, parties and governments and referred to them as an example of unity and cooperation.
