Havana, Sept 26 (ACN) Miguel Diaz-Canel, First Secretary of Cuba’s Communist Party and President of the Republic of Cuba welcomed To Lam, General Secretary of Vietnam’s Communist Party and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

During the encounter Thursday in Havana, the two heads of state stressed the bonds uniting their nations, according to a message on the Cuban Presidency’s X account.

The world has experienced so many changes, but the friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Cuba will never change, said To Lam.

Following the meeting, the two presidents toured areas of the Mariel Special Development Zone, where To Lam was briefed about its history and potential.
