HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 26 (ACN) In a post on X, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel stressed that the state visit of his Vietnamese counterpart To Lam will relaunch ties between the two nations and welcomed the also general secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, who will be in the island until Friday, September 27.
The message posted by the Head of State also points out that the links developed by Cuba and Vietnam since December 2, 1960 have proved their strength under any circumstances.
As part of his first official visit to Cuba in his capacity as President, Mr. To Lam will meet with Diaz-Canel and other state and government authorities.
