HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 25 (ACN) Political Bureau member Roberto Morales Ojeda, Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, welcomed Mr. To Lam, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (PCV) and President of that country, at the José Martí International Airport in Havana.
During his visit, the Vietnamese leader will meet with his Cuban counterpart Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez and other authorities.
Vietnam and Cuba established relations on December 2, 1960 and have since developed strong ties of cooperation, mutual trust and brotherhood between their parties, governments and peoples.
Both nations agree on their approach to various issues of international scope and abide by the principles of International Law and the United Nations Charter.
