Havana, Sept 24 (ACN) The US Coast Guard Service returned 22 Cuban irregular migrants, who made two illegal departures and were intercepted on the sea.
The group was made up of nineteen men and three women from Ciego de Avila and Villa Clara provinces. They all were brought back to the Orozco harbor, in the western province of Artemisa, according to the Cuban Interior Ministry.
Some 1 thousand 101 irregulars have thus far been returned to Cuba this year from different countries of this region in 71 operations.
