HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 16 (ACN) Ruben Remigio Ferro, president of the Supreme People's Court of Cuba, shared today the experience of the Caribbean country's judicial system in the fight against illegal drugs, as part of the program of his working visit to Mozambique.
According to the high official, his lecture was part of a seminar for judges of the African nation, and he emphasized Cuba's zero tolerance policy in the fight against this scourge.
During his stay in Maputo, Remigio Ferro also held official talks with Adelino Muchanga, president of Mozambique's Supreme Court, and with magistrates of that judicial body.
“We discussed mutual experiences and issues of great interest for the fulfillment of our functions,” he added.
The president of the People's Supreme Court of Cuba arrived this Sunday in Mozambique, coming from Namibia, where he also held exchanges with judicial authorities.
