Havana, Sept 10 (ACN) The Cuban Foreign Ministry issued a news release on Tuesday reporting that US and Cuban government experts met on September 9 and 10 in a seminar and table exercise relevant to the implementation of the US-Cuba Bilateral Coordination Plan on the preparedness and response to pollution caused by spills of hydrocarbon or other potentially dangerous substances in the Gulf of Mexico and the Florida Straits.
These exchanges are in tune with the Cooperation Accord in this issue, signed by the two countries on January 9, 2017.lc
