HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 3 (ACN) Hua Xin, ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Cuba, praised the progress of science in the country in a tour of several national scientific centers, accompanied by Eduardo Martinez Diaz, Minister of Science, Technology and Environment (Citma by its Spanish acronym).

Hua Xin and his Cuban colleagues also visited Cuba's National Aquarium and the Information Technology and Advanced Telematic Services Enterprise.
He thanked Martinez Diaz for accompanying him on the visit, which is part of the preparations for the 13th Cuba-China Joint Commission on Science, Technology and Innovation.
