HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 2 (ACN) Cuban authorities highlighted today the enthusiasm throughout the country for the return to the classrooms of more than 1,600,000 students of General Education, for the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year.
In a message published on X by the National Assembly of People's Power, its President, Esteban Lazo, said that the joy of the students and teachers reuniting and continuing their preparation characterizes this day.
For his part, Roberto Morales Ojeda, Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, stressed that a great effort has been made to ensure the school year, both materially and in terms of teacher coverage.
The Ministry of Education congratulated students, teachers and professors on the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year, which it described as an educational celebration.
