HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 23 (ACN) The National Executive Secretariat of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) extended its congratulations today to the Cuban Women's Federation (FMC) on its 64th anniversary.
Due to its importance, we transmit the congratulations in its entirety:
Dear Cuban women federates:
In the midst of an extraordinary and encouraging struggle for the integration, solidarity and destiny of our Latin American people, this August 23, we celebrate the 64th anniversary of the constitution of our hardened Cuban Women's Federation (FMC).
Unforgettable names such as Melba and Haydee in the Moncada, those of Celia and Vilma, the Marianas de la Sierra, forged a tradition of combat in the front line of every feat in our country.
On this day of so much symbolism, your sister organization of the neighborhood, rejoices to have a women's structure aware of the role they have played in society since its founding in the struggle for women's rights, promoting education, child care and their participation in the tasks of the Revolution.
Therefore, on this 64th anniversary of the FMC, receive the congratulations of the Cuban family organization, which will always accompany you in the present and future battles, sure of victory, with the seal that distinguishes you as loyal comrades and mothers of the Homeland where you were born. You have been a true army at the service of the Revolution.
Congratulations federates!
National Executive Secretariat of the CDR
