HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 23 (ACN) Army General Raul Castro Ruz, Leader of the Revolution, congratulated the Cuban Women Federation (FMC) on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the creation of the organization on August 23.
The congratulations to the Federation's members from Villaclare and Cuba came this Thursday afternoon through the voice of Teresa Amarelle Boué, secretary general of the FMC, during a cultural activity held at the House of Orientation for Women and Families in Santa Clara city.
During the meeting, the secretaries of the seven provinces that stood out in the emulation of the anniversary were also recognized, according to CMHW radio station.
Amarelle Boue exhorted those present to maintain the achievements of the Revolution and Socialism.
