Lies and Indecorum will never Undermine Cuba Integrity

Havana, Aug 20 (ACN) Cuba’s Foreign Ministry denounced on Tuesday evil-minded accusations intending to involve the island in alleged repression, espionage, persecution and torture practice in Venezuela.

A statement released by the Foreign Ministry https://shorturl.at/DjH1m reads that once again fabrication and delirium gain momentum in a matrix of lies against Cuba. The hurriedness to hide the failure of coup plans against Venezuela has led someone attached to US oligarchy and geo-strategic interests to try to mislead public opinion by using fake and evil-minded accusations aimed at involving the Cuban state in presumed repression espionage, persecution and torture practices in Venezuela.

The cited female promoter of lies has reportedly received millions of dollars from a US lobbying group to finance her campaign and generate destabilization in Venezuela.

The statement recalls that the Cuban Foreign Ministry denounced on July 31st, as well as on August 2nd and 10th that those who try to launch slander against Cuba are the same ones who support and practice manipulation, interference and the encouragement of violence.

Venezuelan oligarchy knows very well that the Bolivarian Revolution put an end to decades of torture, forced disappearances and murder, the statement notes.

Washington’s support of the renowned Condor Operation in Latin America and the Caribbean, in training mercenaries and coup-oriented military is well known, the statement reads and recalls that the United States was held accountable for torture and horror techniques practiced in the US naval based in the occupied Cuban territory of Guantanamo.

Cuba strongly rejects all false and fabricated arguments aimed at further strengthening the siege held by successive US administrations against the island, which include the stiffening of the economic blockade and the blacklisting of Cuba as a state sponsor of terrorism, the statement notes.

Lies and indecorum, used by as flag by rightist circles, will never undermine the integrity of the Cuban Revolution or go over the will of the peoples, the Cuban Foreign Ministry’s statement concludes. https://shorturl.at/DjH1m
