HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 15 (ACN) In a post on X, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel sent his condolences to family, friends and colleagues of José Felipe Soto, an emblematic employee of Hotel Nacional de Cuba.
In his message, the Cuban leader stressed that Soto was an exemplary worker and union leader, even in retirement, until the day of his death.
In 2022, Soto, who served as secretary-general of the hotel trade union cell, was awarded the Seal of Humanism, Solidarity and Sensitivity by the Ministry of Public Health.
