HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 13 (ACN) In a post on X, Cuban vice president Salvador Valdés Mesa referred to his meeting with Kassim Majaliwa, Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania, in which both leaders talked about the links between the two countries.
In a separate message, the Presidency remarked that the officials saluted the 62nd anniversary of bilateral relations, stemmed from the friendship between Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz and Julius Nyerere, founding father of Tanzania.
At the meeting, Mr. Majaliwa conveyed greetings from Tanzanian President Samia Suluhum to her Cuban counterpart Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.
