HAVANA, Cuba, Jul 2 (ACN) The 13th edition of the International Congress on Business Management and Public Administration (GESEMAP 2024), which will take place until July 5 at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba in Havana, kicked off today with around 300 participants.
Under the slogan: Public Administration and Business Management creating and innovating for the future, the meeting will allow the exchange of experiences and best practices among managers and public officials, entrepreneurs, professors, university students, consultants and researchers from Cuba and other countries of the world.
Ph.D. Tamara Batista Gutierrez, secretary of the Scientific Committee of the event, exclusively told the Cuban News Agency that the 50 international representatives come from nine invited countries, among them Angola, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Spain, Ecuador and Bolivia.
She also said that Cuba's delegation is made up of 250 representatives of universities, branch schools and entrepreneurs, mayors, deputy mayors of provincial and municipal governments from all over the country.
Local management and decentralization from the perspective of sustainable local development in Cuba and Transformational Leadership are the themes of the exchanges, Batista Gutierrez concluded.
