Havana, Jun 25 (ACN) US authorities returned seven Cuban irregular migrants on Tuesday to the island taking the total number of irregulars returned this year to 752 in some 50 operations from several nations of this region.
The latest return took place through the western Cuban harbor of Orozco, in the locality of Bahia Honda, Artemisa province, according to the Interior Ministry.
The seven individuals had attempted an illegal departure from the locality of Yaguajay, in central Sancti Spiritus province.
Cuban authorities have reiterated their firm commitment to a safe and orderly migration and have insisted in warning about the danger and risks for life entailed by illegal departures.
