Havana, Jun 3 (ACN) Cuban Higher Education minister Walter Baluja is on working visit to the Dominican Republic aimed at strengthening relations in the areas of education and science between the two nations.
Baluja is scheduled to participate in forums and meetings organized to promote bilateral cooperation, according to the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
The visit’s agenda include issues like an exchange on good practices in the training of teachers, the implementation of innovative technology in education and the development of joint scientific research projects.
The exchange of the Cuban minister with Dominican authorities underscores both nations’ joint commitment towards the improvement of quality education and the regional technological development, according to a communique issued by the Dominican Republic Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology.
