HAVANA, Cuba, May 29 (ACN) At a meeting with Cuban aid workers in Antigua and Barbuda held as part of his official visit to this country, Cuba’s VP Salvador Valdés Mesa thanked them for their good service.
A 100-strong force of Cuban professionals is working in the health care, construction and electricity sectors in Antigua and Barbuda.
Cuban health workers have cooperated with this nation since May 2000, and their contribution has been both highly appreciated and in high demand ever since, as in the case of similar contingents engaged in other fields.
