HAVANA, Cuba, May 25 (ACN) In a post on X, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez welcomed the signing of the Agreement on the Development of the Process of Participation of Society in the Construction of Peace in Colombia.
In reference to the endorsement of the accords by delegations of the Colombian government and the National Liberation Army, the Cuban official also reasserted the island's willingness to contribute in its capacity as guarantor of peace in the South American nation.
Agreement N°28 of the document signed by both parties addressed social participation in the peace process by stating that “Peace in Colombia requires all voices, all peoples, communities, persons, processes and forms of constructing a nation”.
