HAVANA, Cuba, May 26 (ACN) Delegates from Argentina, Colombia, Cuba, Spain, the United States, Mexico and Paraguay, as well as specialized international organizations, confirmed their attendance to the Meteorology Convention, to be held in this city.
Also present will be the president of the Mexican Meteorological Organization, the president pro tempore of the Latin American and Ibero-American Federation of Meteorological Societies, and the director general of the World Meteorological Organization for the Americas.
Researchers, professionals, teachers and students will evaluate contingency plans to cope with extreme weather events and share their views about, knowledge of and experience in the study of atmospheric sciences.
