Díaz-Canel recalls 64th anniversary of Cuba-Russia relations



HAVANA, Cuba, May 8 (ACN) Miguel Díaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, recalled today from his account in X the 64th anniversary of the reestablishment of relations between the Soviet Union and the Republic of Cuba at the beginning of the Revolution.

The Cuban head of state is making a working visit to the Russian Federation, where he will participate for the first time in person in the Supreme Council of the Eurasian Economic Union and will hold talks with his counterpart Vladimir Putin.

On Wednesday, Díaz-Canel held a meeting with Dmitry Medvedev, Chairman of the United Russia Party and Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council.
