Havana, May 7 (ACN) Cuban young communist leaders thanked the Communist Youth League of China (CYLC) for its firm support against the over-60-year US blockade of the island nation.
The first secretary of Cuba’s Young Communist League Meyvis Estevez conveyed a message of appreciation to the Chinese organization during the on-line seminar on Juvenile Work, held in Beijing, PL new agency reported on Tuesday.
The Cuban youth leader recalled the recent Congress of the Young Communist organization which addressed the importance to strengthen ideological and political work with young people to deepen knowledge about the history of Cuba and its heroes.
Estevez took the opportunity to invite participants to the 5th International Congress of Youth Researchers to take place in Havana in September.
