Communiqué of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs



HAVANA, Cuba, May 5 (ACN) In order to encourage tourism, facilitate the flow of inbound travelers and keep promoting friendly relations and cooperation with the People's Republic of China, Cuba will exempt Chinese citizens who enter, stop by, leave from or stay in the island from undertaking visa application arrangements.

Chinese citizens who wish to stay in Cuba for more than 90 days following the date of their arrival, as well as those who visit Cuba to work, attend courses organized by official entities of both Parties, reside, report news, or engage in activities other than those they were initially authorized for, must apply for the relevant visa.

This arrangement will undoubtedly contribute to the promotion of exchanges between the peoples of both countries.
