HAVANA, Cuba, May 3 (ACN) Esteban Lazo Hernandez, president of the Cuban National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP) and the Council of State, led today the exchange with the top representatives of the 106 people's councils in Havana.
As reported on X of the ANPP, Lazo Hernandez was accompanied by Livan Izquierdo Alonso, first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in Havana; the governor of the province Yanet Hernandez Perez; Yumil Rodriguez Fernandez, deputy chairman of the committee of constitutional and legal affairs and deputy head of the Secretariat of the ANPP; Miriam Brito Sarroca and Carlos Rafael Fuentes Leon, president and vice president of the Committee on Local Bodies of the ANPP.
On the same social network, Izquierdo Alonso stated that the excahange ratified the political and popular authority of the popular councils at the service of the people.
The meeting also made it possible to analyze control actions and popular participation to solve the problems present in the communities.
