HAVANA, Cuba, May 3 (ACN) Roberto Morales Ojeda, member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, mourned today the death of Reserve Major General Leonardo Ramon Andollo Valdes.
On X, the party leader recalled the devoted revolutionary, who demonstrated his loyalty to Cuba since he joined the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR).
Our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends, Morales Ojeda added in his message.
On the same social network, the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces shared the unfortunate news.
Andollo Valdes joined the FAR through the National Revolutionary Militias, in addition, he held different responsibilities reaching Second Chief of the General Staff and Chief of the Directorate of Operations.
