HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 9 (ACN) In order to improve the quality of services, free food modules will be delivered to the 1,446 Family Attention Systems (SAF) that benefit some 63,248 users throughout the country.
Milagros Alvarez, a specialist in Gastronomy at the Ministry of Domestic Trade (Mincin by its Spanish acronym), told Granma newspaper that the donation from the People's Republic of China began with the El Encanto facility in the municipality of Regla, in Havana.
The specialist stressed that in other provinces such as Pinar del Rio, Mayabeque, Sancti Spiritus, Villa Clara and Ciego de Avila, part of the delivery has also taken place.
She stated that the donation contains pitchers, glasses, flat and deep plates, soup bowls, canteen sets, pans with lids and 15-liter buckets.
Elvin Dario Hernandez Escalona, director of Gastronomy of Mincin, added that among the items are the so-called food transporters that are delivered to each of those requiring assistance, so that they can take the processed products to their homes.
It was learned that before starting the delivery, the SAFs underwent an inspection and subsequent constructive reanimation, which included the painting and identification of each gastronomic entity or premises linked to the activity.
Managers expect that in late April all the provinces will receive the module.
