HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 3 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez attended the opening ceremony of the 2nd International Transport and Logistics Fair FITL 2024, under way in this city.
Joining him were Political Bureau member and Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz and Eduardo Rodríguez Dávila, Minister of Transport.
The event is focused on topics ranging from the sustainable mobility of passengers and cargo, the modernization of transportation and its infrastructure, the use of renewable energies, and the efficiency of supply chains and logistics.
FITL 2024 will consolidate ongoing and potential projects and provide new business opportunities with a view to boosting sustainable development in this field for the benefit of the population, the economy and society in general.
